Low-iron glass is an ultra-clear float glass designed to minimize the green edge that is visible on traditional clear float glass. While all glass has some degree of edge color, low-iron is significantly clearer—and when looking through low-iron glass it is virtually colorless. Low-iron glass renders the truest color when used to produce back-painted glass, or other coated glass solutions. It truly has become “the standard” for high-quality, luxury design applications.
