Insulating glass is made using two or more pieces of glass separated by metal or foam spacers. The glass unit is hermetically sealed, in some instances with a gas such as argon or krypton inside, to limit heat transfer into or out of an interior space. Insulating glass units can be configured using various glass types for multifunctionality—including, but not limited to energy-efficiency, hurricane impact, sound control and decorative. AIG is pleased to be a certified fabricator for commercial and residential low-e coated glass manufactured by AGC, Cardinal and Guardian Glass.
Applications: Commercial and residential applications, including custom and high-volume orders for millwork and window manufacturers. Windows, storefronts, curtain walls, sloped or overhead glazing and spandrel.
