Low-emissivity (low-e) glass provides a perfect combination of daylighting and high visible light transmission, without compromising thermal comfort. These coatings are microscopically thin, and are specially formulated to control solar heat gain and minimize damaging UV rays, while allowing plenty of natural daylighting. Based on the type and position of the coating it will reflect the sun’s heat—creating greater indoor comfort and less burden on the HVAC system, or it will reflect heat back into the interior which is ideal for colder climates.

American Insulated Glass utilizes state-of-art technology to produce high performing insulating glass units for both commercial and residential building applications—from low, mid and high-rise construction to furnishing the daily and volume requirements for the custom millwork and window manufacturing industries.

Certified by leading glass manufacturers such as AGC Glass, Cardinal, Guardian, Pilkington and Saint-Gobain, AIG has the ability to meet the most challenging design and code requirements for today’s market—and for any climate zone.

Applications: Residential doors, windows, sunroom and pool enclosures; Commercial doors, windows, curtain walls, storefronts, skylights and more
