Whistler is a 25-story luxury, off-campus student housing development in walking distance of the Georgia Tech campus. Niles Bolton did a phenomenal job on this 284,839 SF property which is on a half-acre footprint. They couldn’t build out, so they opted to build up. Installed by Southern Wall Systems, AIG fabricated the 1” high-performance insulating glass units for this stunning building envelope using Guardian Glass SunGuard SNR 43 low-emissivity coated glass. SNR 43 provides exceptional solar control designed to meet or exceed a 0.22 solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC), with a 43% visible light transmission, 28% outdoor reflectivity and low-level indoor reflectivity.
